About

Built for device makers without a product security team.

Big OEMs have a PSIRT: people whose job is to notice an exploited vulnerability, decide whether it matters, and report it on time. Most makers with 5 to 200 staff don’t, and since 11 September 2026 the EU expects the same 24-hour response from both. Warnbell exists to close that gap.

The founder

Warnbell is founded and built in Sheffield, UK, by an engineer who has built the parts of connected products where security problems actually show up:

IoT gateway integrations

connecting fleets of devices to the systems that manage them

Device data ingestion

getting telemetry off hardware reliably and making sense of it

Real-time systems

over WebSockets and server-sent events

Hardened Go services

with TLS, OAuth and rate limiting

That’s the background Warnbell is built on: read-only connectors into device fleets, careful handling of other people’s data, and systems that have to work at 02:00 on a Saturday.

How we work

  • Honest about our stage. We’re pre-launch and looking for our first design partners. You won’t find customer logos or testimonials here, because we don’t have customers yet.
  • The maker decides. Our AI drafts and recommends. You approve every report, and every claim links to its evidence.
  • Independent. Warnbell isn’t affiliated with or endorsed by ENISA or the European Union.
